FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Comptroller Department of COMNAVREG MIDLANT NORFOLK.
- You will provide effective and responsive customer service, both internal and external, supporting assigned programs
- You will effectively and efficiently organize, manage, execute and monitor payroll and labor transactions (SLDCADA, WAWF and Navy ERP)
- You will remain current on labor policy and Command Time and Attendance Instruction and provide training and guidance to users.
- You will run audit reports using multiple financial systems and ensure actionable items are addressed timely, notifying installation POCs, with professional and well-written communication
- Develop and maintain Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) reporting and addressing labor discrepancies, processing corrective actions, providing customer service support for SLDCADA. 2) tracking functions of civilian labor to include reporting, reallocations, and reimbursable labor.3) Providing financial data in charts, graphs and tables to realistically portray funds execution.4) developing new and/or simplified methods of preparing and presenting reports. 5)Conducting and responding to audits; 6) reviewing procedures, practices, and systems; and 7) recommending disposition of findings and take appropriate corrective actions.
