PROGRAM ANALYST
You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Systems Acquisition Group, Program Management Department, Tactical Air Systems Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
- You will plan, manage and support the work efforts required for successful accomplishment of the assigned acquisition program.
- You will collaborate with program/department managers and other management officials for the development of program guidance and requirements for development, test and evaluation, procurement and in-service operations of supported program.
- You will translate program guidance into policy direction and assistance to the program office staff and Integrated Program Team leaders and members.
- You will formulate short-term and long-range program plans and ensures that program milestones established provide adequate time and resources for implementation by contractors, field activities and participating government agencies.
- You will analyze information requirements to develop and maintain the information reporting system sufficient in scope to serve as a reference source for briefing program officials about the technical, financial and schedule status of the program.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band (DA-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition; (2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; (3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; (4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; and (5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a Command.
